Modi’s visit to nourish ties with Israel

Kochi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi begins his second visit to Israel on Wednesday, The Indian Express reported.
Modi and Israel premier Benjamin Netanyahu will analyse the progress of the India-Israel Strategic Partnership. The two leaders are likely to focus on expanding cooperation in areas like science and technology, innovation, defence and security, agriculture, water management, trade and the economy.
The two will discuss steps to strengthen people-to-people ties. The two leaders are also likely to deliberate on regional and global developments of shared concern.
Prime Minister will become the first Indian leader to address the Israeli Parliament, the Knesset.

The Prime Minister will meet Isaac Herzog, the President of Israel on Thursday. The trip is seen as an opportunity to assess shared challenges and align efforts toward advancing a stronger ties between the two democracies.
“At the invitation of my dear friend Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, I will be undertaking a State Visit to Israel from 25-26 February 2026,” Modi posted on Twitter.
“India and Israel share a robust and multifaceted Strategic Partnership that has witnessed remarkable growth and dynamism in recent years,” Modi said.
