CJP to protest at Delhi on September 5

Kochi: The Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) will organise a march on September 5 in Delhi against the Centre failing to honour its promises made while ending the Jantar Mantar stir on July 25.
The CJP said the government had failed to act on its assurance to withdraw FIRs against students and protesting students.
The march will begin at India Gate and proceed towards the New Delhi Police Headquarters, according to a statement issued by the CJP National Working Committee, posted on X, media reports said.
The organisation said the protest would be led by families of deceased NEET victims and victims of alleged police brutality, with students and youth organisations expected to join.
With the Government continuing to delay and avoid fulfilling its assurances, the CJP National Working Committee has decided to resume peaceful mobilisation,” it said.
