Kochi: A Bangladeshi national was arrested from the Indian Naval Academy (INA) at Ezhimala near Payyannur in Kerala, Kannur District Rural Police Chief Umesh Goyal said.
The accused, identified as Viplav Soren, 32, was working as a temporary employee at the INA.
Goyal said investigation is on to get more details about him, On Manorama reported.
Five Bangladeshi women were arrested from SPAs in Kannur recently and were booked under Sections 3(1) and 21 of the Immigration and Foreigners Act, 2025, for allegedly entering India without valid documents, including passports and visas.
