Kochi: One person has been hospitalized showing signs of Monkeypox disease in Kannur.
The test report of the person, who came from abroad via Kannur airport, will be available in three days, media reports said.
With the country ‘s first Monkeypox case being reported from Kollam in Kerala, strong measures have been put in place in all the airports in the state.
The first person had come from a Gulf country. The airport personnel also have been given instructions to follow all safety measures.
