Kochi: Eleven people were killed in a shooting at Bondi Beach targeting the Jewish community in Australia, BBC reported.
Twentynine of those injured, including a child, were taken to hospital.
There were over 1,000 people attending an event at the beach to mark the start of Hanukkah.
Police found a vehicle which they believe has several improvised explosive devices.
One gunman has also been killed and a second suspect is in critical condition.
Australia’s Prime Minister Anthony Albanese describes the attack as “an act of evil antisemitism, terrorism that has struck the heart of our nation”
