Kochi: In a shift from its original stand, the LDF government has decided to study the Gujarat model of governance.
A team from Kerala will leave for Gujarat on Wednesday to study the BJP government’s tool of good governance.
The team headed by Chief Secretary V P Joy will visit Gujarat from April 27 to 29.
The team will take part in the dashboard presentation carried out by the Gujarat Chief Minister.
Ironically, the LDF opposition had flayed Shibu Baby John when he had visited Gujarat as a minister to study Gujarat model when Narendra Modi was the Chief Minister in 2013.
Then the LDF had said that Kerala did not need to emulate Gujarat.
Meanwhile, the BJP in Kerala has welcomed the move by saying that all the BJP have favoured good governance.
