Court acquits Ex WFI Chief

Kochi: Former Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) chief Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh and former WFI assistant secretary Vinod Tomar
were acquitted on Monday by a Delhi court in a sexual harassment case filed by women wrestlers.
The Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate (ACJM) court delivered the judgement.
Six noted wrestlers had accused Brij Bhushan Singh, former, BJP MP, of
harassing them between 2016 and 2019 at the WFI office, at Singh’s official residence, and during foreign trips.
The police filed an FIR against Singh after the intervention of the Supreme Court in May 2023. Singh is a six-time MP.
