Kochi: Security of Kerala Governor Arif Khan has been beefed up by the centre in the wake of CPM’S SFI intensifying campaign against him.
A 30-member CRPF team from the Pallipuram CRPF camp swung into action as part of centre upgrading his security to Z Plus category.
This was a result of a protest organised by Left Students union SFI today when the Governor was moving in his vehicle.
The situation took a nasty turn when the Governor was intercepted by SFI activists with black banners while he was moving in his vehicle.
The Governor got agitated and held talks with the union government expressing lack of faith in Kerala police.
Posters have been displayed across the state by the Left students union SFI against Khan accusing him of implementing BJP’s agenda.
