Kochi: The Customs seized 6.4 kg of hybrid ganja worth around ₹6.4 crore from a passenger who arrived from Bangkok Kochi airport on Monday, media reports said.
Customs intelligence intercepted Abdul Samad of Wayanad when he landed at the airport on VietJet at around 10.30 pm on Monday.
Examination of his baggage led to the recovery of 6,446 grams of hybrid ganja.
The accused was arrested and will be produced before the Angamaly Judicial Magistrate Court.
