Kochi: India is “preparing for another war” against Pakistan, the Islamic Republic’s President Asif Ali Zardari has addressed a joint sitting of the parliament.
He exhorted India to hold peaceful talks with Pakistan for establishing regional security.
India launched Operation Sindoor against Pakistan after terror outfit “the Resistant Front” based in Pakistan killed 26 tourists in Pahalgam in Kashmir on April 22, 2025.
Zardari also invited Afghanistan for negotiations amid the ongoing conflict with the Taliban.
Zardari accused Afghanistan of acting like a proxy for India, The Hindustan Times quoting Arab News reported.
India has repeatedly denied any involvement in Afghanistan. It is an old habit of Pakistan to blame India for its failures, Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal. India condemned the Pakistani attack on Kabul during the holy month of Ramadan.
