Kochi: Mata Amritanandamayi Devi’s mother Damayanti amma passed away at Amritapuri today, media reports said.
She was 97 and was suffering from age related ailments, reports said.
Her husband Sugunanda pre deceased her. Kasturi Bai, late Subhagan, Sugunamma, Sajini, Suresh Kumar, Sateesh Kumar, Sudheer Kumar are her other children, reports said.
Rishikesh, Shaji, Rajini, Geeta, Rajashri, Maneesha are her children-in-law. Cremation will be held later at Anrithapuri Ashram.
