Kochi: The Directorate of Enforcement has gathered key evidence against money laundering accused Veena Vijayan, daughter of former Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, Asianet News reported.
The ED is waiting for a nod from higher authorities to go ahead with further proceedings against Veena who is accused of getting remuneration from CMRL without offering any service by her Exalogic Solutions now defunct.
CMRL is engaged in mining ilmenite
in a sensitive coastal area in Alappuzha in Kerala by allegedly getting support from different Congress and Left governments over several years now.
The ED will summon Veena Vijayan after getting permission from higher authorities.
Meanwhile, the CMRL is planning to move court to direct ED to stop the investigation.
