Kochi: Actor and comedian Kollam Sudhi, 39, was killed and three other artistes injured when their car met with an accident in Thrissur on Monday, police said.
The accident occurred in the wee hours when their car collided with another vehicle at Kanimangalam, media reports said.
Sudhi, Ullas Aroor, Binu Adimali and Mahesh were returning from Vadakara in the car.
Sudhi had done comedy roles in television programmes and acted in a few movies.
He was rushed to a private hospital in Kodungallur but could not be saved.
His maiden film was Kanthari released in 2015.
Other films acted by him are Kattappanayile Rithwik Roshan, Kuttanadan Marpappa, Theetta Rappai, Vakathirivu, An International Local Story, Escape, Kesu Ee Veedinte Nadhan, Escape, and Swargathile Katturumbu.
