Kochi: With the BJP going strong on RSS activist Sanjit murder case, police have arrested a Popular Front activist in Palakkad in this connection.
Police have not disclosed the details of the arrested person as it might affect the investigation, police said.
The accused had directly taken part in the murder, police said.
According to media reports more suspects are likely to be detained in the coming days, police said.

The police have confirmed that it was a case of political enmity. Sanjit was murdered on November 15 while he was going home with his wife on his two wheeler.
The BJP has accused the SDPI of murdering Sanjit while SDPI has rejected the charges.
Meanwhile, BJP state chief K Surendran met Union Home Minister Amit Shah and sought NIA probe into the incident.
