Kochi: Former Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan’s son in law Mohammed Riyas, MLA, has denied media reports that ED had questioned in connection with his wife Veena’s business transactions with CMRL.
Talking to reporters at Thiruvananthapuram, Riyas said media reports that his wife used his bank account for dealings with CMRL is baseless, media reports said.
He dismissed media reports that funds to different people were sent through his accounts and that the Directorate of Enforcement had twice grilled him over phone.
He said he will take legal recourse against those carrying out smear campaigns against him. Riyas said there are countless allegations made against him and was tired of giving clarifications.
