Kochi: In a bid to keep the younger generation out of the reach of Drugs, the Nehru Yuva Kendra is organising district level football competition for senior section from schools at Thodupuzha Soccer School in Idukki January 26.
Dean Kuriakose, MP, will inaugurate the event.
Titled as “Footbaalaanu Lahiri” (soccer is the addiction), school teams from the Idukki parliamentary constitution are attending the competition for MP Cup, a press release saud.
The winning team will get a cash prize of Rs 10,000 and a trophy, while the runners up will be awarded Rs 5,000.
