Kochi: The Thodupuzha Soccer school observed International Yoga day with popular sports personalities taking part in the event.
The guests stressed the importance of yoga in shaping the mind, personality, confidence, health among others.
Thodupuzha Municipal chairman Saneesh George inaugurated the event. Former national coach Bibu Mathew was the chief guest who spoke about the role played by yoga in all round development.
World athletic coach Nisha Joy was the yoga instructor.
Former national star Anand Haveri and National volleyball player Sini Mol presided mementos to the guests.
The soccer school director P A Saleemkutty presided. Soccer School Coach Jithu George offered felicitations. Soccer School Coach Rahul S gave vote of thanks.
