Kochi: The US President Joe Biden described India as an “indispensable and strategic” partner and congratulated the country on 75 years of independence.
Stressing on “Mahatma Gandhi’s enduring message of truth and non violence” that led to the end of colonial rule, he said the two countries would work together to address global challenges in future.
The association of India and US are grounded in their “shared commitment to the rule of law and the promotion of human freedom and dignity,” he said.
Biden praised the Indian-American community’s contribution in making the US a more innovative, inclusive and stronger nation.
