Kochi: NCB director Sameer Wankhede, on Thursday, sought protection from Bombay High Court against any vindictive action by the state government and preferred the CBI or other central agency to probe allegations against him.
Sameer said he was being attacked personally and he feared he could be arrested by the state police , media reports said. He also appealed to the court to transfer his case to the CBI or some such central agency for an impartial probe, the reports said. Meanwhile, the Mumbai Police told the court that a notice will be served three days in advance to Wankhede before any action.
