Kochi: Three police officers in Thripunithura in Ernakulam were suspended for drinking alcohol inside police barracks.
The cops of the Kerala Armed Police 1st Battalion stationed at the Hill Palace police camp were caught during an inspection by officials, Asianet News reported.
K Abhilash, N Nawaz and M Vishu were subjected to a breath analyzer test which confirmed that they were intoxicated.
The liquor bottle and glass tumblers were recovered by police.
Abhilash escaped while being taken for medical examination and was innuendo.
