Kochi: Kerala Youth Congress president Rahul Moonkothil was remanded by a city court in connection with violent protests against the Left government in the state capital on December 21, media reports said.
The court remanded him until January 22.
Mamkootathil was arrested from his house in Pathanamthitta on Tuesday morning.
He was not allowed to talk to the media and was forcefully taken to Thiruvananthapuram court.
Mamkootathil was subjected to a few health check ups at Government Fort Hospital.
