Kochi: CPM has been directed to pay Rs 11 crore “dues” by the Income Tax department for using an old PAN card during filing of tax returns, media reports.
The “dues” include penalties and interest for “discrepancies” in the use of the old PAN card by CPM, the reports said.
The Congress too was directed by the IT department to pay dues of more than Rs 1,823 crore for discrepancies in tax returns filed in the past, the reports said.
