Kochi: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s custody with Directorate of Enforcement (ED) was further extended till April 1 by a Delhi court in a money laundering case on Thursday, media reports said.
Kejriwal was produced in Rouse Avenue Courts on the expiry of his six days of ED custody.
He was arrested on the night of March in the alleged liquor policy scam case.
The ED said that Kejriwal was not cooperating with the investigation agency which wanted to question some individuals from Goa and sought 7 more days of custody.
Kejriwal told the Court that the entire case is a “political conspiracy” and there is no material against him.
Other accused Aam Aadmi Party leaders are Manish Sisodia and Sanjay Singh who are presently in judicial custody.
ED had filed two criminal complaints for non-compliance of summons issued to Kejriwal who claimed that they were illegal, the reports said.
