Kerala to seek legal advice on FIR against Pinarayi

Kochi: The Kerala government will take legal advice in dealing with the issue of registering FIR against Opposition Leader Pinarayi Vjayan of CPM in the bribery case as wanted by the Directorate of Enforcement, Chief Minister V D Satheesan said.Addressing a press conference after the cabinet meeting, Satheesan said the matter needed to be considered seriously as the letter seeking nod to register FIR against Pinarayi Vijayan was written by the Directorate of Enforcement .“Law will take its own course,”  Satheesan told reporters.The matter submitted against Pinarayi Vijayan is serious, he said, adding that there is no politics in it. The ED had written to Kerala Director General of Police Ravada A Chandrasekhar seeking registration of an FIR against Vijayan, daughter Veena T and her husband P A Mohamed Riyas, MLA, under the PMLA.
