Gold smuggling accused Swapna weds Sarith

Kochi: Accused in the sensational gold smuggling case, Swapna Suresh tied nuptial knot with coaccused Sarith at a temple in Kochi on Saturday.
This is their second marriage.
The marriage ceremony was held at the Vadakke Pattupurackal Temple in Nettoor.
Close relatives and family friends of the couple attended the function, On Manorama reported.

The Customs intercepted 30 kg of smuggled gold from a diplomatic baggage at Trivandrum International Airport on June 30, 2020. Further probe took investigators to the Prime suspect Swapna Suresh, an ex-UAE consulate employee, Sarith Kumar among the eight accused.
