Sameer Khan was arrested in an alleged drug case
Kochi: The NCB is going to seek cancellation of bail of Maharashtra minister Nawab Malik’s. son-in-law Sameer Khan on charges of violating bail conditions. The move comes in the wake of Malik levelling extortion charges against NCB director Sameer Wankhede, media reports said. Malik had also said that Wankhede will lose his job within one year.
Sameer Khan, who was arrested in an alleged drug case on January 13 this year, was granted bail on September 27. Malik had said that Sameer Khan was arrested under wrong charges and no banned drug was found in his possession. The heat of attack on Wankhede intensified after the arrest of Bollywood actor Shahrukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan on the Cordelia Cruise ship off Mumbai coast on October 2.
