Kochi: US President Joe Biden allegedly abused a scribe when he asked Biden the impact of price rise on mid term polls.
When asked if the price rise had become a political liability to the government, Biden replied sarcastically that it was an asset. In the same breath Biden muttered the abusive words presuming that the audio recording was off, media reports said.
Realizing the folly, Biden phoned Fox News White House correspondent Peter Doocy to say “it’s nothing personal, pal”.
The scribe is said to be in regular verbal exchange with Biden.The US is experiencing the highest inflation in the last four decades, the reports said.
The incident occurred on the sidelines of a meeting of a council in White House that has the responsibility to deal with price rise.
