Kochi: A five-year-old girl was killed when a wild elephant attacked her at Kannanakuzhy in Athirappally in Chalakkudy on Monday.
Daughter of Nikhil of Puthanchira in Mala, Agnimia was injured when the elephant hit her with its trunk while she was traveling on a two wheeler with her father and grandfather Jayan.
The elephant came out of a plantation farm
and entered the road and attacked them. Nikhil and Jayan also suffered injuries.
She died on the way to the hospital.
