Kochi: Fourteen people were killed and more than 70 injured after a heavy billboard fell on them in a storm in Mumbai on Monday, media reports said.
The billboard crashed down on a fuel station crushing vehicles on the ground.
The area where the hoarding was erected was under Maharashtra government’s Police Housing Division.
Police have registered a case against those including the owner of Ego Media who had erected the board.

Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde visited the site. He said the government will conduct an audit of all hoardings in the city.
