Kochi: Intelligence chief of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC)has been killed in a US-Israeli strike, BBC quoting IRGC reported.
The IRGC said Major General Majid Khademi was killed early on Monday morning.
A Times of India report confirmed the death of Gen Majid quoting Israel Defence Minister Israel Katz alleged that civilians were being shot dead
IRGC whose leaders are facing elimination by Israel.
“We will continue to hunt them down one by one,” he said.
On the other side there were media reports dismissing the death news of General Majid.
Earlier, US President Donald Trump appeared to set a deadline for Iran to reopen the Strait of Hormuz for 20:00 ET on Tuesday.
Trump said “Tuesday will be Power Plant Day, and Bridge Day, all wrapped up in one, in Iran. There will be nothing like it!!!”
In response, Iran warned of “much more devastating” retaliation – while ordinary Iranians tell us how they feel about the latest American threats.
