Kochi: Former Indian Army chief Manoj Mukund Naravane on Tuesday agreed to
publisher Penguin’s claim that Naravane’s
unpublished memoir was never made available to the public.
Penguin said no copies of the book have been published, distributed, sold or otherwise made available to the public, Times of India reported.
In a statement, Penguin said no copies of the book in print or digital form were made available to the public.
Penguin warned that any copies currently in circulation, whether in whole or in part and across any format or platform, would amount to copyright infringement.
Penguin said it would pursue legal remedies against any unauthorised dissemination.
