Kochi: Police raided a hypermarket at Thana in Kannur following reports about some of its promoters alleged links with Popular Front of India (PFI) activities, media reports said.
The police seized computers, mobile phones and other articles. The police also raided a cloth shop at Prabhat junction.
The raids are on in different places including Mattannur, Chakkarakal, Iritty, Uliyil. The police are investigating sources of income and conspiracy on hartal.
Meanwhile, police arrested two persons from Nallalam in Kozhikode for pelting stones at a KSRTC bus and hurting the driver.
Mohammad Fathim and Abdul Jaffer were arrested by the police based on the CCTV footage. They attacked the bus going from Thrissur to Kannur.
They also tried to waylay vehicles in Panniyankara police station limits, the reports said.
