It is war in Kerala BJP

Kochi: All the glory of BJP winning Thrissur Lok Sabha seat has vanished as there is chaos in the party camp after its dismal show in bypolls in Kerala.
At a time when the party was celebrating its glorious show in Maharashtra assembly polls and by elections in different states, BJP in Kerala was engaged in mud slinging blaming one another for the poll debacle.
It all started with firebrand leader Sandeep Varrier exploding against a faction sidelining him during the election campaign. This added insult to injury to Varrier who was sulking after the party initiated disciplinary action against him for one year.
Varrier’s migration to the Congress made things worse for the party. He blamed Palakkad candidate Krishnakumar and State chief K Surendran for his exit. Post election, leaders have openly started trading charges against each other.
The fight has reached a point where former Union Minister V Muralidharan and state chief K Surendran have expressed their differences in public
The Central leadership seems to be shocked to witness the internal war in the party. They have not woken up from its deep slumber to clean up the party in Kerala following mutiny.
Party big boss Amit Shah seems to be upset over the current affairs in Kerala.
Basking under the glory of a big win in Thrissur during General Elections, the party seems to have gone complacent about the byelections.
BJP is going to face a herculean task ro tame the ambitious leaders.
