Kochi: Explosion took place in a stationary bus and unexploded bombs were detected in two other buses Israel, media reports said.
There were no reports of any casualty.
The bomb in the bus blew up in a parking lot in Bat Yam, a city outside Tel Aviv.
Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has ordered the military to conduct an “intense operation” against “terror hubs” in the West Bank after the blast in Tel Aviv Saturday.
Such explosions used to happen during the Palestinian uprising of the 2000s.
Unexploded explosives were found on two other buses.
There were five identical bombs with timers.
The bus company immediately ordered to stop operations and conduct a “thorough inspection”. They resumed their routes once they were found to be safe.
The Shin Bet internal security agency was taking over the investigation, the reports said.
The Israeli military has imposed restrictions on Palestinian movement and sealed off parts of the West Bank amid its ongoing security operations there.
Israel’s military has repeatedly carried out raids on suspected Palestinian militants in the West Bank since Hamas’ October 7, 2023 attack sparked the devastating war in Gaza. As part of that crackdown, Israel has greatly restricted entry into Israel for Palestinians from the occupied territory.
