Kochi: Attempts were made to disrupt security
by a Khalistani protester during External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar’s visit to London, media reports said.
The incident happened when Jaishankar was leaving the Chatham House venue after a discussion, when a protester ran toward his car and tore the Indian national flag in front of police officers.
The man aggressively rushed towards the minister’s convoy. A video shows the protester tearing the tricolour amidst the protesters shouting slogans.
The police moved in and took him and other extremists away.
