Kochi: President Ram Nath Kovind had to fetch water from outside as the wash room used by him had no water at Thiruvananthapuram, media reports said.
This happened during his visit to the state capital for the P N Panicker statue unveiling function, the reports said.
There was a series of mess up during his visit which included a security breach involving the mayor’s car and his convoy, the reports added.
The Thiruvananthapuram Mayor’s car tried to follow the President’s convoy from the airport to the statue unveiling venue at Poojappura.
There was also alleged protocol violation regarding seating arrangement for the President’s wife.
The President was on a tour of Kerala from December 21 to 24.
The central and state intelligence agencies are probing the matter.
