Kochi: Covid scare is once again causing concern as cases are increasing in five states including Kerala.
Ernakulam, Thiruvananthapuram, Kottayam, Kozhikode, Pathanamthitta, Idukki, Alappuzha, Kollam, Kannur, Malappuram and Wayanad, media reports said.
The centre has issued a warning to spruce up screening activities in the states of Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Karnataka and Maharashtra.
The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMS) has directed the health department to increase facilities in housing societies, Jumbo centres with more equipment, and war rooms
to meet any eventualities.
