Kochi: Ernakulam District Sessions Court has stopped arrest of Malayalam actor Mukesh, MLA, of CPM for five days until September 3 after the police register cases including rape charges against him, media reports said.
The charges under various sections varying from three years to life imprisonment were slapped on Mukesh on the basis charges of an actress who accused him of sexual misconduct, the reports said.
Mukesh had moved the court seeking a stop on his arrest following allegations against him.
