Kochi:The ‘hidden crossway’ painting exhibition of artist K Srilal’s started at Durbar Hall Art Gallery in Ernakulam today.
Curated by Dr Shaju Nellai, the exhibition is held in association with Thiruvananthapuram College of Fine Arts, 1992 group and kerala kala academy.
The Academy secretary N Balamuralikrishna presided over the function. Its chairperson Murali Cheerothu inaugurated. Shaju Nellai delivered the welcome address. Former head of the department of sculpture, Thiruvananthapuram College of Fine Arts, P Kesavankutty, Sree Sankara Fine Arts head of the Department Dr Jyothilal T G felicitated. Artist Nijeena Neelambaram deliver vote of thanks.
Hailing from Kollam, Srilal did his BFA and MFA from Thiruvananthapuram.
He is the winner of 2004 Kerala Sahitya Academy state award. Srilal has held exhibitions in India and abroad. The exhibition will conclude on December 8.
