Kochi: Karnataka chief minister Siddaramaiah the JD(S) might merge with the BJP in future.
Speaking in the wake of two former JD(S) MLAs joining Congress, he said the country is going to face a political polarisation in future due to the BJP which is dreaming of creating a Hindu Rashtra. Deve Gowda and family have joined them,” Siddaramaiah said, describing JD(S) a Deve Gowda family party.
The JD(S) will remain as a political party till Deve Gowda is at the helm, he said at a function at Bengaluru.
Siddaramaiah said Gowda had lost the right to describe his party Janata Dal secular after joining hands with the BJP.
Former JD(S) MLAs Gowri Shankar and R Manjunath joined Congress on Wednesday.
