Kochi: The CPM-led government in Kerala has landed in soup as the Fisheries Minister Saji Cherian has allegedly made controversial remarks on the country ‘s constitution.
The Chief Minister has sought clarification from Cherian following the state Governor’s intervention in the matter.
The governor is examining the remarks made by Saji.
In a speech made at Mallappally near Kottayam, Saji had reportedly made derogatory remarks on the constitution.
Meanwhile, Saji Cherian has denied making any remarks against the Constitution.
