Kochi: Three persons have been detained in connection with the murder of BJP OBC Morcha Kerala state secretary Renjit Sreenivasan, media reports said.
Two of them were expected to be arrested as police have evidence of their direct involvement in the crime.
They were detained by the police a few days back and were being questioned, the reports said. One of them was nabbed from Bengaluru. More suspects were being questioned, the reports said.
Meanwhile, an RSS leader K V Aneesh, 39, was arrested from Ponnani in Malappuram in connection with the murder of SDPI State secretary K S Shan.
He is accused of sheltering Murugeshan who was directly involved in the case, reports quoting police said. A total of 15 persons were arrested in the Shan murder case.
The twin murder took place on December 18 and 19 in Alappuzha.
