Kochi: Is it the end of the road for sports celebrities Shoeb Mallik and Sania Mirza, who are reported to be heading for separation, according to reports in cyberspace? India tennis star Sania married Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik in 2010 and they have a son Izhaan, media reports said.
The two are not on good terms after Shoaib allegedly cheated on her and they live separately, Pakistani media reported.
After 12 years of marriage the Pakistan cricketer has cheated on her during one of his TV shows.
Sania said on her Twitter handle, “Where do broken hearts go. To find Allah”. She shared a picture with her son along with a caption saying, “The moments that get me through the hardest days.” The real reason behind their spat is not known, the reports said.
Even as there is literally no confirmation about their differences, their social media posts and captions indicate something fishy in their relationship. The two were seen together during the birthday of Izhaan, whom they are currently co-parenting.
On Izhaan’s birthday, the 40-year-old Shoaib posted pictures and wrote, “When you were born, we became more humble and life meant something special to us. We may not be together and meeting everyday but Baba is always thinking about you and your smile every single second…”
The class middle order batsman and off break bowler, Shoeb led the Pakistan national team during 2007-2009. He currently plays for Peshawar Zalmi in Peshawar Super League.
