Kochi: Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Saturday said that a campaign is on by Sangh Parivar to polarise the country in the name of communal lines.
Straying away from the principles of modern democracy, efforts are on to divide the country in the name of religion, he said inaugurating an area committee meeting at Pinarayi in Kannur.
The minority communities are not feeling secure, he said.
A particular community is being targeted in the name of Halal foods, he said adding that the meaning of this was food ideal for consumption.
It is happening in different parts of the country and it is also happening in Kerala.
