Kochi: Diplomatic baggage gold smuggling case accused Swapna Suresh accused the Crime Branch of harassing her in the name of questioning her in a conspiracy case.
The Crime Branch wanted her to move out of the HRDS and not take any help from her lawyer, Krishnaraj.
Swapna alleged that the Crime Branch wanted to know where she had kept the details of the financial dealings of Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan’s daughter Veena Vijayan.
Swapna said that she has been rendered jobless by the Chief Minister.
She said she would fight till her last even if she was on the streets.
Swapna Suresh was held in connection with gold smuggling in Thiruvananthapuram airport in 2020. Kerala Chief Minister’s Principal Secretary V Sivasankar, was also arrested in the case which is being probed by the Customs, NIA and ED.
The Crime Branch registered a conspiracy case against Swapna after Former Minister K T Jaleel lodged a complaint against her. It was on this matter, the Crime Branch is investigating against her.
