Kochi: An investor claiming to have a deposit of over Rs 70 lakh with the scam hit Thrissur-based Karuvannur Cooperative bank has sought permission to end life for the bank’s failure to redeem the deposit.The 53-year-old Joshy of Mapranam in Irinjalakuda has sent letters to Kerala High Court Chief Justice and Kerala Chief Minister in this regard.Joshi said that he has no money for meeting medical expenses, children’s education and livelihood.He underwent 21 surgeries for tumors and other issues during the last 20 years.The Directorate of Enforcement (ED) is probing the scam and has filed the first chargesheet in the alleged Money Laundering case.
