Kochi: At Least nine people were killed in missile strikes by Pakistan inside Iran’s borders in retaliation to Tehran’s attack on Pakistan on Tuesday
The strikes hit “terrorist hideouts” in Iran’s Sistan-Baluchestan province, media reports said. The attack was for Pakistan’s own security and national interest, Pakistan said.
Iran had targeted the Balochistan province in Pakistan, aiming for the Jaish al-Adl group on Tuesday.
The two countries accuse each other of harboring militant groups that are a threat to one another for long.
