Kochi: Incessant rains dampened the spirit of the Thrissur Pooram revelers as they were deprived of witnessing the mesmerizing Vedikkettu in the wee hours of today.
The administration has decided to hold it at about 7 pm tonight.
The city was drenched in rains intermittently in the daytime on Tuesday even as the pooram festivities continued unabated.
People stood in the downpour enjoying every bit of the programme.
After completion of all pooram related functions, the final event left was that of fireworks.
People waited with bated breath to watch the fireworks until an announcement came about the postponement of the fireworks.
