Kochi: Union Minister George Kurian on Saturday said that the centre will consider financial help to Kerala if the state admitted that it was lagging in growth.

Let Kerala confess that it was lagging in social and education sectors, then the centre would examine the veracity of report before taking a decision.
The centre is focussing more on the development of north eastern states.
Stating that AIIMS is not announced in budget, Kurien said that let the state first do its duty of complete the work on its part to get AIIMS.
