Kochi: Delhi blast suspect Dr Umar Mohammed’s mother and two brothers were taken into custody today, India Today reported.
The investigators are examining the DNA report of Dr Umar with that of his mother.

after the Jammu and Kashmir police
detained Dr Mujammil Shakeel and Dr Adil Rather and seized 3,000 kgs of explosives from two rented houses in Faridabad in Haryana.
Assault rifles and ammunition were recovered from a car belonging to Muzammil’s colleague Shaheen Shahid at Al-Falah University before the blast.
Shahid was entrusted to set up the Jaish-e-Mohammed women’s wing, Jamaat ul-Mominaat in India.
The blast suspect Umar Mohammed was also working at Al-Falah and was a close associate of Muzammil.
The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has taken over the probe into the blast that has shaken the nation.
The blast killed nine innocent people and injured 20.
